The Dirt Blog

Posted in: Digital Social Media, Portfolio

For many years, I have been blogging about archaeology, baseball, social issues, social media, and higher education at the Dirt Blog. It has switched locations numerous times, but has finally found a home at dirt.terrypbrock.com. This blog originally emerged as a way for me to communicate with friends and family during my first research trip to St. Mary’s City in 2007, but has since developed into a place where I talk about many elements of my current education in graduate school, and the different types of research and projects that I have been involved in. It has provided a wonderful outlet for me to share and interact with a larger community about what it is I do on a professional and personal level.

This blog is meant to stand alone, but is also organized in such a way that it will correspond to my academic portfolio. Therefore, it can serve as a “real time” look into my interaction with and reflection on these different elements of my life and work. Please feel free to subscribe to the RSS Feed, so that you are regularly updated on my posts!
