2010 MSU Campus Archaeology Field School
In 2010, I co-directed an archaeological field school with Dr. Lynne Goldstein. The project lasted for five weeks and was conducted on Michigan State's Campus Center, called the Sacred Space. Students learned basic survey methods, archaeological field methods, conducted lab and archival work, and had a number of experiences relating to public archaeology. In addition to leading small tour groups every day, students also maintained a public blog, where they regularly posted about their findings and experiences throughout the summer.
