“All of Us Would Walk Together” Digital Exhibit
In 2012, I designed, curated, and launched a digital exhibit about my dissertation research for Historic St. Mary's City. The exhibit presents the lives of the 19th-century African Americans who lived and worked on the plantation in Southern Maryland. The exhibit comes in two parts: the first is a more traditional exhibit presenting the results of the research, while the second is a blog that gives a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the research and preservation process that is still ongoing at Historic St. Mary's City.
The Exhibit was generously funded by the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the Ford Foundation, and the SRI Foundation.
