Campus Archaeology Internship Program
In 2008, I developed an internship program through the MSU Campus Archaeology Program. This experience provides a number of MSU undergraduate students interested in archaeology with the opportunity to gain additional field experience, while also conducting their own individual research project. In many cases, I served as the primary advisor for these students, and guided them through the entire process from deciding on a research topic to presenting their research at the Undergraduate Research Forum. In each case, the students made valuable contributions to the Program's research goals. During my time with CAP, nine students served as interns, five of whom are currently in graduate programs in anthropology.
