We grew up turning to Strunk and White for our writing advice, but "Style" focuses less on rules, and more on understanding how to make something enjoyable to read. According to Williams, the context of your writing is what determines what you should and shouldn't include, not a strict set of rules. A must read for people who want to think hard about what they write and who they're writing for.
